I am looking for socks for my Father. He is diabetic, but also just recently had back surgery and has to wear orthotics that come right below his knees to help him walk better and aid in his recovery. I not only want the socks because they would be good for him because he's diabetic, but also so the orthotics do not rub his shins. Would these socks be a good choice?
